The Executive Committee of PIMA is made up of industry professionals who possess extensive manufacturing knowledge and business acumen.
Members of the committee are elected annually at the AGM and serve on the committee for 12 months. Participation in committee meetings provides an opportunity to interact with people at a similar level within the industry and it is one way to contribute and add value to the industry. There is a high level of camaraderie among committee members who are working to meet the goals and the vision as outlined on the “about” page.

Head of Engineering
Azuma Design Pty Ltd
I have been involved in many things "plastics" coming on 50 years now. I got addicted to the smell of burning Polystyrene at the tender age of 16 and I still cannot get enough of it after all this time. Over the years I have been fortunate to be part of many aspects of this industry. It has been and still is a never ending, fascinating and challenging learning experience. I hold a few bits of rather thick paper with wording that would suggest that, sometimes, in my professional capacity, I don't always just make things up. These papers also serve me to know when I actually do not know what I'm talking about even though you could make a very small bowl of alphabet soup with the letters on my calling card. My involvement with PIMA goes back to day one of this important, to many of us, industry body. I have had the good luck of taking part in many events PIMA put on, meet and be inspired by industry stalwarts and make some good friends over the years. I had the esteemed or somewhat dubious honor to be brought into the CADS fraternity as well as being invited to join the Plastics Pioneers and PLICS in NSW.
I am a Board Member (representing PIMA) of the NSW Industry Training Advisory Body (ITAB) and I am a Councilor for the NSW Branch of the Ai Group.
